In an increasingly technological and artificial world, where families need more support from schools to educate young children, what they need, for a harmonious development of body, mind, and spirit is: a natural world lost in favor of the virtual world and a familiar environment to be taken as a model, with large open spaces, plants, and animals.
Offerings
1. A small school with up to 30 kids from 3 to 6 years old (the size of an extended family in Bali), where everyone is familiar with others, including animals.
2. A large compound with vegetables, trees, orchard and animals, where children can play in the open air and interact with the plant and animal world: the best, natural way to develop empathy.
3. An ecological school building making use of: natural materials, where suitable; natural lighting from top (sky-lights), very important for kids' health; natural ventilation, vertical and horizontal, plus ceiling fans; flexible space, adaptable to pedagogical needs; a colored, comfortable interior.
4. A healthy varied menu using as much as possible organic products from the school farm: mainly vegetables picked by children. A fruit-based snack is served at 10h, including seasonal fruits picked by children from the school orchard. Lunch is served at 12:30.
5. A realistic and natural approach in the forefront of kids' education, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's principles of "Nai Talim", adjusted to the different era, situation, and socio-economic condition of the users. An ideal objective in line with the Hindu concept of Tri Hita Karana (the three sources of wellbeing) that inspires Bali culture and pursues harmony with the physical, animal, and social environment for the children.
Programs
We offer a variety of programs designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in every child. Our programs include arts and crafts, science experiments, outdoor play, and more.
Our Staff
Meet our team of dedicated and caring teachers who are passionate about early childhood education. Our team includes teachers with degrees in preschool education, led by a competent director with experience in national and international kindergartens. All staff members have a very good level of proficiency in English.
